1Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
Walk is keeping with the truth that the living God has implanted, supplanting your former dead idols, and set you to wait for His Son Jesus Christ from heaven
Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Christ is exalted as the Head of the Church in Colossians, and we are to own Him practically as such. We need not go to the wisdom of man for help, for all resources are stored up in that exalted Lord in glory.
Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
It is in keeping with the truth of the Church unfolded in this book in chapter 2. Association with Christ and one another in resurrection as a new creation, access as worshippers to the Father, and built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
